Nope, just get some MM HD or XD lower control arms. Quad shocks are there to prevent wheel hop and adding good lower control arms will make quad shocks not needed.

I have the tokico HP's on my car and i think they are a pretty damn good dampner for street use while greatly improving performance...

If you are on a budget and have/are going to lower the car ~1.5, get the HP's (blues)

If you are looking for more of a performance oriented setup, go with the bilstein HD's, but the pricetag comes with it

if u arent corning carving or drag racing it really doesnt matter. doubt u will really tell a difference. i bought some kyb-gr2 shocks and struts off ebay for $180 shipped and they are 10 times better than my stockers. i have 1 coil cut all around on my springs and the ride was terrible with the stock setup. so i got the fox shocks/struts and it made a huge difference. i definitely cant justify spending $200-300 more just to drive around on. just my .02

I can when they will last so much longer and are a much sturdier design. Have you ever seen the strut shaft of a Bilstein strut? If you havent, I suggest looking it up. And the fact that you have fox body shocks and struts is probably why you dont have any problems with them. Cutting one coil off of the spring will put it in the lower end of the opperating range and buying the fox body shocks and struts will allow you to lower it more without putting the dampeners out of the opperating range, but if you got those same shocks and struts in new edge form, they would probably suck a fatty. I'll stick to my guns and say you get what you pay for with suspension parts.

If it were before June 30, you would have that much and more for Koni's Jazzer...back when they were actually cheaper than the Bilsteins. But now the Bilsteins are cheaper again and I think that they are both great dampeners. So my vote is still going towards bilsteins.

Jeez I wish i could make up my mind....I keep trying to wait until I have the money to do a UPR K up front and coil overs at 4 corners...but that is just so far off and in the mean time I need replacement shocks...gayness.

lol...crud...I just hate to go through the process of changing them out along with my rear suspension as well..only to do it all again. How good of performance handling can honestly be achieved with a set of lowering springs and matching shocks? I also have full heim jointed rear control arms. Baseline stuff on top. I don't want to lower it much because my road is gravel...
