So I thought this may be an interesting thread to see people's opinion on. I'm hoping to move to KY as soon as I land a job (currently in Boston). And before doing so, I am saving money for when I do move. I want to be down there by the end of this year job or no job. So I'm saving money if I go with no job lined up to live off some cash until I find one.

Personal problems aside (lol), I am one to constantly tinker and keep myself busy. I noticed Devon started a "give me something to invent" thread, which this is not meant to be like.

This is more of, what do you guys do car-wise to keep yourself busy/interested during times of stashing away the money. I can only wash/detail it so much ahaha.

Any and all opinions welcome.

On a serious note I'm considering putting my supercharger build aside for a few more months while I try to save some money to relocate to Charlotte, NC. Before I put everything on hold I'm going to be putting some longtubes and a shorty X on so that I can stay satisfied for a little while longer.

 

Do other things that don't involve the car. Or, I race.

 

i sit in my front yard and try and carry on conversations with the strangers that run by. and if theyre joggin just take off and jog right behind them till they say somethin

 

When I am trying to save money I work, work and work. That leaves me no time to spend what I am earning. So That is my advice, work work work. Because if you are not working you are not earning money, therefor you are more then likley spending it on something, weather it is food, gas, or a hooker.

im savin right now and im 16 so i have my job, i mow yards, i wash my car, i wash my parents cars, i go swimming with friends and when school starts ima study so when i get outta college noone can say nethin bout my mustang cuz itll be a not v6 so suck on that

Yea, I would work more but nothing around me to do. I'd pick up some contruction/landscaping on weekends since I work 8-430 mon-fri, but nothing going on in my town. I've applied to Autozone for weekend work but you apply online and they NEVER get back to you.

I like the sitting in my front yard/convo idea....but that would get boring lol. I live on a very slow street. I do however have a BB gun to shoot the damn chipmunks that scurry around the yard digging holes.
