Default Just ordered a kenne bell

Just got off the phone an finally ordered the KB IC'd 2.1l kit for my 96GT. They said it may even be here by next friday. Finally after 2 years of saving the day has finally come. Cant wait, and I will make sure to take lots of pictures during the install. I will keep eveyone posted.

I stuck with the npi heads so I could keep the compression down. What else needs to be fabricated? I figured I would have to since the kit is actually designed for the 99-04. Im hope anything I have to do is worth it in the long run though.

Make sure to get a dyno tune and not stick with the kb tune I know to many people that have ruined there motors on kenne bells tune

Yeah I have read some pretty nasty stories about the KB chip tune. I have sniper SF and a LC1 wideband. I am going to try to tune it myself being very careful to watch for lean conditions. If I cant figure it out to where I feel comfortable with it, I will send it off the modular depot.

Then main problem with the tuners around here are that they do not know how to use SF, and I do not think they care for it. I hate the fact I can not tune the car myself with the SCT which is what all of the tuners around here use.

I love those damn Kenne Bells lol! If i can get my hands on a 2.1 (with all the trimmings) for a fair price i'll probably get it.
