yeah DD in the back, 9" in the front.

I didnt wana do 18's, I like my 17's. I saw a set on a mustang at autofair... sold me. I though they WERE 18's until he told me they were only 17"'s.

I honestly dont think I will notice the power loss from the potential 40 lbs gained by these wheels....

If these wheels do indeed get me traction in 2nd gear, I will be 100% satisfied. That extra weight might even HELP me. I am confident that the blower will not hesitate w/ the extra weight in the wheels.

haha thats a difficult statement.

On paper the car "might" be slower due to the extra weight... HOWEVER, if these wheels/tires do indeed land me 2nd gear traction... there is no doubt in my mind my car will be quicker in the sense that 1st and second gear will get the car physically faster in those gears, enabling me to stop bogging 3rd

All you need is better tires for 2nd gear. 1st gear, understandable. I can launch at peak torque in 2nd gear and get traction just fine as long as the road is conducive to it. The gain in rotational weight is pretty big man. For every 1lb of rotational weight you add its like 8lb of non rotational weight. So if you gain 9lb on each wheel then you are essentially adding 1 1/2 people to your car at all times.
