How can you make a statement like "not to sound like a dick, but..." and then follow it up with "this isn't the customer service department???"
His question sounds like a very reasonable question to the forum, and if anyone KNOWS the answer, they can respond with HELPFUL information.
Of course, I don't write this to sound like a dick...
I don't know about the laws in MD, but none of the guys I know in NC have had any issues with smoked headlights. I just installed a set of the Dark Smoked AM headlights on my car this morning. They look real good. I won't know how much light output I am losing at night until it gets dark here. I seriously doubt that anyone would say anything to you about these headlights. They have a little tint to them, but they are not THAT dark.

You def need HID's for these things haha
They are illegal as far as i am concerned... I don't think they have D.O.T approval on them and that right there is illegal.
As for the tail lights it depends which state you live in.. Some states its illegal like NJ, others it's legal as long as you can see the brakes from 500ft away

Check your state laws, I got mine a couple of weeks ago and when they showed up i started to panic at how dark they were so I called my father up who is retired state pd and he said that as long as the the side markers are a visible yellow and you can see the light they emit from at least 500 feet away then you should be fine. But each state law is different in regards to this so its up to you.

I have the smoked headlights for the 94-98 models which I got for american muscle, they have a nice look but they don't seem super dark, those "dark" smoked headlights seem alot darker than mine. I don't have an issues with stock lighting at night with mine and the cops haven't bothered me about them yet. I beleive as long as they have the amber side markers they are legal.
