Default 75mm TB and plenum

I plan on going supercharger about 3 years from now, so far my current mods are midpipe shortthrow, drop in k&n. My question is, is it ok to get a 75mm TB? i heard that it will make your car idle very high and will run like ****... and also, Do i even need a plenum?? or will the supercharger come with one?? i don't want to buy parts twice, but if its goingto run crappy then theres really no point in getting it...

the plan was accufab 75mm TB and plenum for about 430$, then soon after its put on, i planned on 3.73 gears and SCT xcal tune, the combo for 544$

75mm will be fine accufab is a very well recognized brand, but very expensive. ive never heard anything about making the car run like **** tho. also i dont think it is maditory to have a plenum but i would recommend it with forced induction.

I would hate 4.10's for anything that is not naturally aspirated.

Unless you plan on a Kenne Bell, just go with the 78mm BBK throttle intake to save a bunch of money and you will get both in one unit. Upgrading the TB alone will not do much at all.

I loved my 4.10s with +425rwhp.

Neither a bigger TB or Plenum is "needed" in either case. A better plenum is a good idea no matter if you are forced induction or staying naturally aspirated though. A 75mm TB will not be too big. That is pure BS. The rest of your intake system will be 75mm or bigger. Having the same diameter TB will not hurt you at all.

I still stand by my statement that the BBK 78mm combo is the best deal for someone looking to get both a plenum and a throttle body.
