Default 02 2v engine and cams ???

I got a friend who just did a 4v swap in his 02 GT, He offered to sell me the 2v engine with only 69k miles on it, wiring harness and ecu plus brand new comp 270AH cams with beehive springs for only $700. The engine comes equipped with a BBK CAI and TB+plenum and 30# injectors. Im thinking about getting this for a project and adding ported heads plus a Victor Jr. Intake and rails then spray for a few year boredom project. I would look for a early SN-95 roller to plug it into, preferably a auto. Yay or nay ?? discuss.....

Yea id do it if you know the motor ran fine...and if you could find a roller. I think it'd be a nice lil project!

Maybe a Fox body roller. Ive always wanted to build up a fox!

Yeah Im positive its fine, I was helping him build it until he scored a 4v out of a totaled 97 cobra. As for finding the roller ... yeah that will take some time and patience lol, I would take one from a salvage yard as long as the body has little to no damage and no frame rust.

Me too , I think I might pull the trigger. Hell I might even add some TF heads to see what they are all about, hopefully they will cheaper in a year.

700 bucks of time killing, beer drinking fun.... Im thinking of scourging the classifieds and looking for a used N20 kit. Start with a 100 shot and move on up as I get more comfortable. Adding Nitrous to the 3V as well, I love me some giggle juice.
