Bone stock. I feel like that might be a good thing though, knowing that nothing's been done to the car.

That doesn't always mean nothing ever WAS done to it...but either way, for 3900 bucks you can't go wrong if it runs strong.

Well in this case I think it might. The seller is the 2nd owner who bought it from a dealer in '02 maybe, and never did do anything. Would gears be a good place to start, or should I look into mufflers or a high flow air filter, no CAI?

forget the CAI. If I were you, I'd go 4.10s/offroad midpipe/catback/tuner/short throw/throttle body &plenum. What are your goals for the car if you end up picking it up?

I won't be taking it to the track, but I still want good performance. I actually just found a shop that will do gears installed for $300, and from there I'll move on to exhaust. Its an auto so no short throw.
