my 03 gt was recently making a clacking sound that sounded like a can or something and then the next day while driving it acts like it has a lot of hesitation and vibration almost seems like the brake is engaged or something. Oh by the way the car is a 5sp.

could you atleast describe where the clacking noise is? saying your car has a noise doesnt really help.

 

Blow a spark plug out? Clogged cat? Your details are overwhelming

 

Need more info to make a decision, but it could very well be a muffler bearing by the description.
