The shifter is almost as gay as the music in the second video.

If someone bought it for looks, they are borderline ricer. If they bought it to actually figure out what gear they are in, then they should buy an auto and just look for "D".

that thing has a horrible refresh rate btw.... ill be in 3rd gear before it says "2"nd lol

Do you know how it works?

Since the vehicle has no gear position sensor I envision some sort of mercury switch or other position (relative to level) sensing device as used in the various electronic "levels" that are out there.

If so then the response would have to be significantly dampened to allow for normal pitch, roll, and yaw in the vehicle's motion.

I've had one of these for a couple+ years and use it all the time for camber and caster alignment...
