told ya what i suggested already purple lol. My dads been a state trooper for around 30 years now. Just try and get it reduced yourself. And take a defensive driving course. Your gonna spend big money on a lawyer for a ticket like that trust me.

I haven't even remotely considered getting a lawyer for this. Not even close.

hahaha it mad money. A couple of my buddies got caught on the parkway doing 120 i believe. My one friend has a ton of money hired a lawyer for a couple grand and still lost his license for a month and paid a $3000 fine and had to take a defensive driving course. Obviously our speed was a lot less but you get my point.

Just a lil update for my buddies here that have been asking....So after waking up at 3am this morning, and driving 3 1/2-4 hours down to southwestern New Jersey, after waiting from 7am til 1:35pm....I finally have a verdict on my speeding ticket.

I was able to talk to the prosecutor and emphasized that I had no idea where the hell I was going, have only traveled the area a minimal amount of times over the course of the past 5-10 years, and that there was quite a discrepancy between the speed I know that I was going and the speed written on the ticket. The prosecutor made a deal w/ me, zero points, $250 donation 68mph in a 65mph zone. So I ended up having the result that I wanted. The 250 doesn't mean a damn thing to me, and overall, I'm falling asleep at the computer but I'm finally able to get a good night sleep w/ this ISH off my mind for once! New Jersey courts are crazy, in the courtroom I witnessed 3 people get arrested for not showing up and not paying previous fines!!!

To all of those who have helped me previously regarding this - Thank you!

EDIT: I must be honest, I was fully intending to ICE the judge if he tried stiff-arming me. Luckily for the both of us, he was civil with me. LOL
