spark plug issue

Default spark plug issue

i wanted to do a compression test so i went to take off the spark plugs and they was very hard to get out and was almost seized into the head now i wanted get the new plugs or the compression tester back in the holes they will thread in abit then stop liek there is dirt or **** in the threads how do i go about cleaning them out o is it best to buy a tape abd retape them to really clean them up

Get a tap set and run the tap thru to clean the theads. Make sure its the right size tho

Hopefully the plug hole isn't stripped now or you're looking at a heli-coil or a timesert.

+1 How did you plugs look? Were they clean when you removed em?

threads are still there there was some drit in them but didnt strip them. that why i asked they just feel like the need cleaned we all have droped a bolt in the drit and tryed to put it back in thats what it feels like so i want to clean them to keep from stripping them
