Which btw, you lectured a MODERATOR for trying to maintain forum integrity by asking for supporting info to back up a claim which was made.

What? When was this? And I'm not sure if you noticed but I still answered the OP's question both with links to other threads regarding this topic and my own personal opinions of these cams.

Atta boy! You have plans to pull the trigger on other cams?

AHH HOw much should the cam cost in the end? I got a guy who will install it, so springs camshaft tune, and the degreeing cost? AHH this is driving me insane. I azm gonna install it myself with a friend... I am prob gonna stick with hitech but get degreed valve springs and tune, that way it wont grind the piston wall DEFINITELY! RIGHT?!!??!? LMAO

I'm sorry, but after seeing so many people reference kugzgt's car for a reason to be running MHS stage 2s over all the others available, I have to say this............. why does a PI swapped mustang with like 10.4:1 compression, stage 2 N/A cams, and full bolt-ons including LTs make only 293hp to the tires. What gives? I have seen higher than that on bolt-on/stage 2 cammed cars repeatedly with no compression bump.

Sorry if that comes off as rude or whatever, I just have always wondered what is up with that setup.

Dyno numbers dont mean a thing.. The only thing a dyno is good for is showing you a torque curve, the numbers dont really matter IMO. Dynos can be manipulated to read whatever, but the function the graph generates is absolute.

You don't think 293/292 is good for just cams and a bump in compression? I have seen CMS Stage 2 cams make ~288hp (JayC's numbers), Comp Stage 2 cams making 288hp (I forget his name on the board) and I don't remember what mustangmancp made with his Hitech cams. IMO 293/292 is pretty good for what is more like a Stage 1 cam. Most Stage 1 cams are going to make 5-10hp less than the Stage 2 cams.

But you should know dyno numbers mean almost nothing.
