Happy Day before Turkey Day! SO I'm thinking about buying a B5 A4, one that is awd and a 5 speed. I want a car that I can go to the snow in. This would make me happy. What do you guys know about Audi A4 sedans? And don't say buy a truck instead, that's what I DON'T want, at least right now.

The v6 model is what I'd like to avoid, I"m actually looking at the 1.8T's honestly. Do you know about those?

I know all about them. The V6 is what I got because they had a hell and when I mean hell, I mean A HELL of alot of problems with the 1.8T. AWD, heavy car, and LITTTTTTTLE motor on boost? Not very good. I know alot about both platforms. I bought the V6, 5speed, and I drove the eva lovin' sh*t out of it. The quattro was great in the snow, NEVER had a problem with the motor, and the quattro was fun....especially for parking lot AWD doughnuts.

Make sure that whatever one that you pick out, has already had the timing belt and water pump done. it is literally clockwork on those cars....blow the timing belt and the motors a goner. I bought mine at 94k miles and drove it until 128k miles problem free, but it was coming up on needing a timing belt/water pump and at the dealer it was 2800 I think?

The only thing that I have modified in the tune is the shiftpoints which still aren't up to snuff LOL

Yeah, I saw that LOL. Weird. That sucks about the UPS douche. I just ordered 25' of zinc plated 5/16 tubing so I can make my custom trans cooler lines, and a new shift **** to replace the factory auto piece of crap
