Hey Dean (smitty), just woke up and I need karma on my side today so I'm not going to say that. However, i'll attribute your new found hobby to your location lol.

ahahah a$$....ohh and goodluck with the job interview! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

And KY isn;t the reason I'm into RC LOL. growing up I had radio Shack brand and some Tyco RC cars. But they are chidls play compared to these things.

It's like modding cars but on a vastly cheaper scale. Everything you can do to a car you can do in RC....wheel/tire combo, gearing, exhaust, custom painted bodies....hell you can even port and polish the sleeves LOL.

Not to mention I'm at that point with my car that I won't mod/fix it unless it's broken lol.

I've got a T-MAXX with a TRX2.5 engine. Haven't played with that thing in years. It went through glow plugs so much that it pissed me off and I stopped playing with it. lol

I've got a quick exhaust question for you guys. If I get LTs that dump into a 3" midpipe will that pose a problem with my 2.5" catback?

Fitment might be a bit weird...but if you are having a shop do the work they might be able to figure something out, whether its to widen the 'inlet' of the catback or to have a small adapter cone thing for each pipe.

But as far as power and flow goes, I doubt it. Plus, you'll get more BACKPRESSURE for MAXIMUM TORQUE!!11 P

if your engin requires backpressure it has a serious design flaw. back pressure for power is a myth that somehow became mainstream.

I do all my own work. The only reason I ask is because I don't want to buy the 2.5" piping when I'm going to want to upgrade to 3" down the road. If there might be an issue I'm just going to pass on the LTs for the time being.

The more I think about it the less I want to touch the eaton. Might as well save up for a year, skip the eaton BS, and buy a whipple...would I need to upgrade the fuel pump and MAF to run the whipple?

Just tossing around future mod ideas here! lol. Trying to decide what I'm going to waste my money on next.
