I've got a 6 month plan for a house. Talked to a lender last week. My credit score isn't high enough right now so I'm speaking with a credit specialist on monday to formulate a plan to repair/build and get myself to an adequate level to get a home loan. Pretty excited!

Owning a house (meaning a mortgage) is so over rated now days. We were going to buy a house this year but decided it would be much better to just take it easy for a while longer and make someone else pay for depreciating value and for repairs.

^ Very true. Although adjustable rate mortgages are few and far between these days.

because one of the last things Bush did was try to pass legislation to outlaw them. on top of that alot of the banks that gave them out are bankrupt.

1. I bought my first cruiser style bike, its a 1985 Kawaski 454 LTD. Its smallish, but I didn't wanna go spend a few grand on a Harley just yet. Its got some pep for being a small bike due to it being a 4v motor. Its uber clean too

2. Selling my car for a down payment on a house crossed my mind...but...its just too hard to part with it at the moment.
