Ordered a couple Continental Exteme contact DWS tires off ebay today though Discount Tire's outlet. They were used, but according to discount tire, only for a few hundred miles, and have no noticeable treadwear. $260 shipped to my door. Should be better than the bald Traction T/A's that are on there. I'll slap them on the rear wheels and wait until I find another good deal on them for the front.

...the price of a quart of oil has increased. an oil change done myself will undoubtedly cost more than taking it to the majority of oil change shops...kind of messed up.

yeah but if you change the oil yourself you know the oil pan isn't getting stripped out where the drain plug goes....
