Fiat hands down. Word on the streets is they have a barely sub-30 second 1/4 time. Thats awesome.

Cobra for sure, but those fiats are awesome.
I wouldnt call them POS's, they sell like crazy in europe.
I would consider getting the fiat 500 abarth ss though (not over a cobra), those are pretty sweet.

Sorry but that logic is just completely wrong. You buy the Cobra because its a Cobra, not because for the same amount of money you could have a way faster GT.
Most car enthusiasts dont buy cars purely for speed. They do it for speed, looks, and just generally what they like. To buy a GT and make it exactly like a Cobra would cost alot more than just getting the Cobra.
If that logic was used for all cars than why would people buy cars like Ferrari's??
I can spend a lot less than $300K to make a car as fast as one, but its still not a Ferrari.
