Default Vortech build thread

Ok here you go. I went the budget build route which ended up at a little under $3000 including the tune. There were some hiccups along the way which is expected when doing something like this, but overall I am pleased. For the most part it was a pretty easy set up. Had some issues with the injectors and getting the inlet pipe set up and aligned right. And a special thanks goes out to nucworker for all his help. Although all I did was hand him the tools. Here is the build sheet and some pics.

Your a/f ratio is way crazy and very lean for a non intercooled setup.

+1, thats the first thing I noticed when looking at the pics. I would get that tune redone.

Congrats on the blower man.

Ya man didn't get a change to post on your other thread, but somethings up with the shop that tuned your car, numbers are low tune seems way off and a little on the lean side.

Ok I don't know alot about tuning so what would cause the afr's to be like that?

They had a hard time with the timing so they had to retard it to 12. Could that have something to do with it?

Those green tops ended up being 13# injectors. The guy I got them from thought they were 42# until I took them into have them flowed and found out they were 13#. So I had to get another set and went with the 39# instead.
