Default Looking for MAF housing

I was working on my intake last night and one of 1 of the 4 plastic corners of the mass air flow (MAF) sensor housing was already broken. By the end of the night two more of the corners had broken off and it is just hanging on by one bolt. This is between the MAF housing and the first intake pipe (the pipe going into the fender). Here is what I am talking about BTW:

The GT model uses the plastic housing. The V6 uses a metal housing. I would prefer a metal housing, but that's all I need, the housing. The sensor works fine (as far as I know). Where can I get just the MAF housing? It's for a 2002 GT with an aftermarket cool air intake (the MAF is stock).

Isn't the housing for a V6 smaller? And probably the last thing you would want to do is put a smaller housing on

My 98gt had an aluminum housing, Idk if it was any smaller than the newer ones though. Might could find an older 96-98 housing in a junkyard or something.

Thanks for the responses guys. I'm going through a local Mustang mechanic for the hook up. Hopefully it's not too expensive, but I do need it. I may decline his offer and look through a junk yard. We'll see. Thanks again.

Still looking for a MAF housing. The guy who thought me might have one didn't...

I went to two junk yards and called two different Ford dealers. I can't find one. It would help if I could open up my search more.

Is this same housing made for any other vehicle? Example, this 80 mm housing is made for the 2001 - 2004 Ford Explorer. Need to find one. Thanks!

Thanks again for the reply's guys. I think I will go and (legally) harass Ford to sell me the housing unit separately. If not there are still some junk yards I haven't tried yet.
