power estimate

Default power estimate

so was wondering what kind of power im putting down now. was hoping some of you with the same type of mods could give me some numbers
i have a 98 Gt pi intake and cam swap, CAI, catback exhaust, 75mm Tb and C&L plenum.
i was thinking i would be around 210 rwhp hopefully.......

you might be around there maybe a litlle more, 215 rwhp, 240rwtq.

PI cams and intake, but NPI heads? Not tuned either? If so, i 'd guess maybe 215-225 rwhp.

cool thanks a tunes coming soon but after a few more bolt ons. i hope to be sitting at almost 250ish rwhp with pulleys ,headers, o/r xpipe, and a tune

i put down 260rw on full bolt ons. long tube headers, cai, pulleys, tune, 4.10s, 3k stall converter, 75mm tb and plenium. already had the pi setup since im a 03. then i stepped it up to a vortech and im at 475rw.

Dont hold your breath man. if your ~215 now idk if those mods are good for 35 moe rwhp.. I hope you get your goal however. How soon until dyno day

you have a pi motor so your rwhp gains are gonna be nowhere near an npi motor.

op your around 210-220rwhp if i had to guess. I would do a full pi swap for your next mod.

right but i figured with him doing the pi swap other than his pistons, they should be the same. he would produce more power being a higher compression and n/a

You may come up a little bit short of your hp goal, but I wouldn't put much value in the dyno number anyway. Take it to a track before and after your next mods and see what impact it has on your trap speed. Trap is a much better indication of your power anyway. It is a good measure of power to weight ratio, without much impact from traction, etc.
