so i just installed an intake and full exhaust along ith a sct tune at 9 octane and came across underdrive pulleys. reading about them every place i see says they add around 10hp cause it frees up the accesories.is it orth it?should i spend the $140?
They might be worth 3-4rwhp. I also recommend the STEEDA set. If you are into stereo equipment or any other accessories that draw a fair amount of current, you may want to avoid the UDP's.

he would be fine keep your alternator pulley stock and change crank pulley only this is what i did all the power comes from the crank pulley anyways and he won't have any charging issues. This is what i did with mine.

If you reduce the size of the crank pulley, it will slow the stock alternator pulley rotation by the amount of circumference change of the crank pulley. The only pulley in the kit you could change without changing the alternator speed is the water pump pulley.
Most guys can reduce the speed of the alternator without issue because they don't run accessories that will cause a major drain on the charging system. However, it is not a good idea to run UDP's with powerful stereos because of their drain on the system.
i was actually wondering the same thing. if the underdrive pulleys were worth it... i wouldnt even know which ones to get for my car since the pi swap. i never changed the timing cover or anything
