Default Cobra Shortblock with 2V Heads

I just bought a 2004 Mustang Cobra forged shortblock for my 2002 Mustang GT. I got it at a steal. I plan on swapping over all my 2v parts. Heads, timing cover, etc. I know the compression with the heads with be around 9.5 to 1. I also have a procharger D1sc to install, which is the reason I bought the shortblock to handle the power. I know I will need a 8 bolt flywheel. My question is has anyone of you done this swap? Also what else do I need to know when doing this swap? Do the 2V heads have stem ports that need to be drilled into the block? With the timing chain do you have to drill the block to put proper pins to hold the retainers? Do you have to drill the coolant passsage in the block? Is the timing cover off on one of the bolt holes? Any information that you could give me to help me with this swap would be appreciated. Thanks

They're both romeo blocks so everything should bolt right up no problem.

I did the opposite of what you did (4v top end on 2v shortblock) and there were no issues besides some hoses and wiring.

As for the oil cooler onthe side of the motor where the filter attaches to I beleive cobra used a different setup then a GT so make sure you find a Cobra Adapter for it with cobra gasket otherwise you will mix coolant and oil.
