Does anyone know if my SCTx3 from American muscle for my 99 GT will work on my wifes 2000 Ford F150 as well ?I guessing it would but not really sure.
I assume if it works I can get some tunes made up from Bama tunning.

Her truck has a 4.6 Liter also.

Unfortunately it will not the tune is '99-'04 Mustang Gt specific, the PCM is completely different in a Mustang then in an F150

 

even if it did work Tuners are VIN locked so you can only use them on 1 Vehicle

 

Yeah i understang about it being Vin locked.
I was going to let my wife use 1 of my 5 unlocks if it worked.

are you saying it won't work on my 97 Cobra ?
i was told it would , may have to just order up some tunes for it.
I would think the can tunes would work on both my GT and Cobra.
But as for the Bama Custom tunes I have for GT already won't work on Cobra,That I can see.

They only work for specific ECUs.

 

Thanks Lil . So if I was to give my ECU number Im guessing for my Cobra to Bama\AM (free tunes for life ) they can get me hooked up to work?
but what about the CAN TUNES I wonder?

I think AM list SCT as the same part# for both my 99 GT and 97 Cobra.
