Default Timing

I learned the hard way bout the 4.6 timing. I was off alil i guess and when i tried to crank it, it broke 3 valve's off and messed up the head's....had to buy a another motor. Next time it's going to the shop!!!

What went wrong. Meaning what part did u do wrong. Bad marks?

Hoss302 and Kugzgt you guy's actually make a good point if you was right. I had guy's helping me that did turn the motor over. Come to find out it was some internal stuff that did the damage. Timing wasnt the problem

please explain further. were you building a motor or just doing the timing chain?
