Anyone done the splice in sequential tail light kit? Why would it say it doesn't work for cobras?

 

I have done it. Not sure why it wouldn't work for cobra's though. It just taps into the wire harness... Must be something with they relay or flasher on cobras?

does it specify a year for the cobras it doesnt work on, i thought it was just 99-01 due to the yellow light on the bottom...i was told it should work on any car that has 3 lights lol...got mine from ebay as a splice in kit, almost 3 years no problems

 

No it didn't specify year. The yellow turn signal makes sense. Pretty sure all 96-98 tail lights are the same. I'm buying them!

 

Yeah when it says will not work on cobra's it is meaning the 99-01 ones with the separate yellow turn signal like stated above
