I hate that you're getting rid of it. I know you'll miss it but the more you save now the better mustang you can get down the road. I have an 07 gt and i love it. I can't get rid of my baby but i'm saving up on the baddest and the best THE SHELBY SUPER SNAKE

Good luck! I can't believe you did this..... but to each his own.
Mustang manual gas mileage is always an issue, but it's not the car's fault.
You have to learn to keep your foot out of it. That is very hard to do.... LOL
My 89 will get 20 mpg if I can keep my foot out it.

this is true. the same with an auto. i turn OD off if i am going under 50 mph and my mileage went up about 1 mpg, not much but i mostly drive around the city.
