Default Hurst shifter question

Hey there guys,
Brand new the forum. Switching over from the old Bmw world....serious change.

I am looking at parts for an 03 GT and really want the chrome shaft Hurst shifter for the T4/T5 tranny. I am not wild about the look of the hurst shifter for my car...any suggestions. Is there a modification that can be made?

Thanks for the help! Looking forward to getting to know all of you.

The Hurst shifter for the Tremec 3650 uses the same 2-bolt mount for the handle as does the stock shifter and all but the MGW after market shifters:

This means that there is a wide variety of handles that will fit.

You may want to look at the MGW shifter, it is preferred my many including myself:

The MGW is the only shifter that is a complete redesign of the stock unit, and has the shortest throw.
