Default Who is running the PMAS HPX?

I ended up getting the PMAS HPX slot style sensor to use as a blow through for my set up and I am now being told that it will be hard to tune the car with it. It was suggested that I should have gotten the Pro-M Racing set up instead. For those running the HPX did you have issues with tuning?

I know a lot of people using the PMAS HPX, its a good quality piece IMO. Pro M racing is junk. You made the right decision

It will work fine, just make sure you get a 30-point transfer function datasheet with it, and get that entered into your tune...

edit: I just looked at your signature, are you planning on pumping up the power? The stock MAF is good to a solid 500fwHP, 425 at the wheels...

He has the HPX Meter now, non calibrated. Are you saying he needs a datasheet for it?

Yea, you need a datasheet for it to program it properly.

OP, you chose probably the highest quality maf on the market honestly. I have never read anything bad about it and it's capacity is virtually limitless. Great choice! Just make sure you have the datasheet and transfer function for it and you're golden.

Not sure what a datasheet is, but they did send me some sort of disc with it. I assume my tuner will need that. I hope to have everything on and tuned this weekend.

I needed to get an intercooler and figured I should just do it right and go with the blow through set up instead. The car is making great power and is a blast to drive. I can only imagine it will be so much better once this part is done.

You'll not peg it
I have the VMP unit which is essentially the same idea/setup

If you get close to pegging it, stick it in a bigger pipe and watch the maf counts drop.
