Talking Re-tuned with intercooler

First off I want to thank the following members for all the helpful information they provided for this build. If I missed you sorry, you know who you are.

So I got my car back after having the intercooler installed and re-tuned. CX Racing intercooler, 3.33 pulley, HPX PMAS, VMP housing and a Tial Q BOV. My initial baseline run stock was 242rwhp and 286rwtq, with the V2 nonintercooled it came out to 340rwhp and 356rwtq. Now with the intercooler they were able to raise the timing and play with the MAF to get the car dialed in at 381rwhp and 372rwtq. The car is totally different now. My tuner says it is a very safe tune and there is more room for growth. It is only pushing 8 pounds of boost. With a smaller pulley and maybe a power pipe he says I would be way over 400rwhp. I am actually very happy with it this way since it is my DD. I will have to switch out the spring on the BOV, because it is not opening all the way and makes a chirping noise instead of the swoosh and dumping the air. Overall I am very happy. Here is the dyno sheet.

very nice man, sounds like a nice setup...trust me you will get tired of 380rwhp and it will feel like it did when it was stock again. I give it 2 months before you have a smaller pulley/power pipe and that babys back on the dyno haha

good luck!

Awesome results!!!
You always "feel" the extra power when you up the timing, it makes the car feel "crisper" for lack of a better tech word!
Enjoy!!!

No I am running what came with the BOV, it is unpainted and Tial states it is a 10 pound spring. Will be ordering the other spring today.

Yep, told ya to get the 3psi spring :-). Glad you got it tuned and such though. 97Stanger is definitely right. At first you are very impressed by the new found power, even afraid sometimes. Then, after a little while, its just normal and doesn't feel all that fast anymore. Sad, but true.

I know that sucks. I can't even imagine going back to the stock 240rwhp.
