Default some upgrades

I was thinking bout doin some upgrades on my car to get some more hp out of it.i have a 96 gt.I currently have cold air intake and exhaust.thats about it.I was thinking about doin underdrive pulleys, bigger mass air flow, headers and throttle body.are the parts worth it if?

you are better off saving up and doing a PI swap. All those might net you some HP, but nothing really worth it.... (I say that though speaking from a pure opionion, I would personally prefer the heads & cams)

I would do that or go with gears. Depends on the budget that you have though really and what you want out of the car.

@least 4.10 gears, PI swap, some sort of exhaust upgrade to make it sound better, a short shifter for the fun factor, and suspension components.

F/I if you want a lot of hp.

I wouldn't screw around with anything else until I did that stuff first.

Op, what are your goals for the car? Is if a DD, weekend fun car, toy? If you tell us what your goals/uses are for the car, you'll get a much better response and better feedback. Good luck.

Thanks for your responses.It is my daily driver, but i also like to have some fun in it.i was lookin to add a little hp.Im not usin it as a track car so i dont need to make it super fast.But i want to bump the hp up a little bit

Forget putting anything into your current motor and put a 5.4 4v.

That's what I'm planning on doing at least >_>

If you want a bump in power I would do gears, and then heads and a tune (heads and tune together)

I forgot to add i have 3.73 gears and a sct tunner. Im lookin at a grand or less.Like i said im not tryin to make it into a strip car its mydaily driver but im just lookin for a little extra to have some fun in it. Thanks for the advice guys
