Default Intercooler install

Hey guys,

Just thought i'd update ya. Car hasnt had much done to it in awhile.

I ordered a intercooler kit about a week ago. I also decided to get a transmission oil cooler as well.

So far today I got the intercooler itself mounted, trans cool mounted and all the lines run, and reclocked the blower.

Tomorrow morning before work I am hoping to get all the intercooler piping done.

I'm going to a blow through setup, so I am waiting on the MAF adapter, since my tuner gave me the wrong one.

Then after that I need to get that, along with some other stuff welded up, and then of course tuned.

So I'll just update this thread with pics and everything as it goes along.

Just cell phone pics though.

I'm really digging how you stayed with the GT bumper and didn't go for a cobra bumper. Something different for once.... Good luck with the tune and the rest of the install.

updated pics

Still needed to mess with the drivers piping some

Making sure the fogs still worked hah

All buttoned up, looking like a car again

Inside piping, still need to get the MAF adapter for the blow through setup welded, a bung for the IAT, a pipe for the IAC, and a pipe on the discharge of the blower for the BOV

ready to see this thing in action. The bumper support still has some very good support to it. He left the reinforced "u" junction on the back, which provides a lot of support.

I'm just using the vortech BPV as a BOV, same thing 0949er has on his setup

long story short there is no flange for my stock MAF. So I need to buy a lightning meter now.

So Monday im going to my tuner to buy a MAF, and get my chip flashed so i can drive it down there, and schedule my dyno time, and then drop off the stuff at the welder

So eta is mid-next week.....hopefully
