Well I am going to be ordering the rear coilovers, low profile irs springs, and coilover install kit tomorrow. I was wondering what spring rate I should go with? This is my daily driver so it needs to be comfortable, but I want it to handle well at the same time.

Well today I ordered H&R Race springs for my car. The guy said I should put the extra money Id save into bushings and whatnot, and will benefit from that much more. He also said that the springs that I must have gotten in the trade were for a SRA. He also said if I went with coilovers in the back with my springs I have up front, Id have massive oversteer issues, and the ride quality would be terrible. Which it is right now because my front springs are really soft, and my rear are very short and stiff. So if anyone needs bbk front springs or h&R black rear springs for a SRa, lemme know, because I am going to have no use for them come this weekend. I will also get to put my front bilsteins in this weekend. Also plan on doing some maintenance meaning oil change and a new fuel filter since the IRS will be somewhat down.

My memory might be off on this one and you need to verify but I remember the rear springs on a SRA and IRS being completely different. ie not being able to be used on one another

The guy at maximum motorsports said that the springs I was given are for a SRA, becuase H&R dont make black springs for the cobra model. They only make Blue(Sport) and Red(Race). I guess the SRA rear springs are shorter by a few inches.

Wow I never thought I would see the day when I corrected a MM employee.
This is directly from the H&R website in the FAQ section
"6) If the H&R springs are red does it mean that it’s they are Race Springs?
No. Color does not indicate which springs you have. The part numbers printed on the springs and/or spring box indicate whether you have a Race Spring kit or otherwise. If you are not sure which springs you have please call H&R at (888) 827-8881."
