Which is.....

A front diffuser...LOL you can even see the bolts to adjust the angle on the front lip. If thats not a diffuser I dont know what is.

Looked up the rules for AI on the NASA site.. doesnt say anything about aero restrictions at all. from the PDF I just looked at.

Sorry not a huge fan of those on our cars at all, it looks way out of place. Only way I would get that is if it gave a noticeable advantage and my car was track only.

I like what you did to the motor...big props on that. However the styling with the decals and the water runner diffuser or whatever it is, is kind of...."Queer Eye for a wannabe straight guy" idk, just doesn't belong on a Mach....especially with a motor build like it has.

Not my cup of tea. I would understand if you were like hardcore about racing and actually took the time to put that thing in a wind tunnel or something to figure out if it is helping you, or possibly hurting you.... What other suspension mods have you done? I can think of a lot of suspension mods I would do before I'd put something like that on my car. Regardless, looks like you've got quiet the car there, congrats.

It ran around $400. I'll see how much of a difference it makes next time I go to Willow Springs or Buttonwillow. I'm sure on big willow at 120+ speeds it'll help.

The decals on the window are for my friends shops. The big round one is for my painter so I told him I would put it on for hooking up the paint for me. I personaly like it and know it should help at the track so if that makes me "a wannabe straight guy" then so be it.

No wind tunnels lol but I'm getting into track racing so thats why I did get it. As for suspension I have the MM Road and Track box pretty much but with Tokico D Specs and eibach springs. I was going to switch to coilovers but now I'm leaning towards an air ride kit. The only thing that still needs to go in is the 6 point cage and I'll be done with it.

People hating on a car that is used on the track and functional is ironic.

A diffuser is a very different that a SPLITTER - which is on the front of the car. A splitter is designed to keep air out from under the car. Creates better traction and controls air pressure. A diffuser is located on the back and is designed to smooth air flow, allowing air to escape smoother and quicker from under the vehicle.

A proper diffuser like that is very helpful on a track car.
