just picked up a 96 gt with 3.55 gears ... CAI /h pipe / und. pullies. cnt find any info on this chip .. what is it.. i want to spay a 75 shot but pretty sure the timing is advanced with this chip .. previous owner could not provide any info about the tune either.. what should i do ??

 

Remove the chip and get an SCT chip put in and tuned to your liking.

 

so is it just a plug n play chip or is it sodiered in ??

 

srry im new to this ... where can i get a sct chip for a reasonable price ?

 

It just plugs into the J3 port at the bottom of the PCM--unplug it and you will be back to the stock tune...
