Default Paint Estimate

I got an estimate for $600.00 to paint my hood, a new Cobra bumper and both fenders, I thought that was pretty good considering I got two other estimates between $800-900.

is that at maaco?

I work in body shops every day and just for a hood alone is usually in the 400-500 range, I would expect $1000 + for the whole front end of the car

600 bucks sounds to good to be true..You really need to make sure it's a reputable shop. If I'm not mistaken, the paint alone would cost 300- 500 bucks..

I have seen there work and they do a good job. It's funny the main painter is a woman.

I hear you.. I gave the guy who painted my car my oem bumper, fogs and hood all I had to pay for was the cost of the paint which cost around 300 bucks. They did a good job and couldn't be more satisfied. See below..

Soldier your car looks great!! I'm guessing the metal-flake paints are harder to paint as that was the first words out of their mouth's....."it's the color"

Well, I am going to order my bumper this week. So we'll know in a couple weeks how good it looks. I will post picks when it's done.
