Just FYI, i've found that even from a roll i can take down most blower cars that have 40-50 more hp then me. Don't sell yourself short man. If you're making around 350 rwhp, then you're probably around 400-450 rwtq.

Its not so much that he is selling himself short its more to the fact that he trapped 111mph in the 1/4 while trapping 90mph in the 1/8th. My car traps 91mph in the 1/8th and 117mph in the 1/4 so we both know I have more top end than he does. Of course the similar 1/8th trap speeds could also be due to the fact that I am shifting from 3rd to 4th right as I'm crossing the 1/8th and he is already into 3rd (he is auto).

Yeah but remember he had a 20 mph headwind as well. I'm sure he wouldn't get 117, but another 3-5 mph under the right conditions is not out of the question. It's very possible that the headwind wasn't making a huge difference in the 1/8, but very well could've in the 1/4 due to higher speeds, aerodynamics, etc...

actually, the reason the car feels so slow is because of my damn '95. that car on spray was a freaking animal from a roll. kicked out at 55 if i had my street tires on. Now i'm in a completely different car with less power, doesn't weight transfer like the '95, and doesnt "feel" nearly as fast. looks better tho! lol.

sounds like a pretty fun setup. whats your plans once you get forged rods/pistons...up the shot? are you still running a stock auto?

not sure yet. up the shot just to a 150. and then some sort of f/i. Probly just going to buy my buddies strim when he upgrades, convert it to a Ttrim and aim for 5-550.

stock auto with a dd converter right now. before i supercharge the car I'll pull the trans and drop some new parts in it tho.

Yeah my aode in my 95 only lasted a few months after I put my 347 in. I'll have to research what to put in it to handle the power tho.
