Default loud exhaust

I have a 2000 gt with a off road xpipe and I previously had flows buy just installed slp loudmouths.. too loud does anyone have any suggestions?

swap the flows back on, even with a catted mid pipe its still gonna be pretty loud, but not as loud as o/r

get cats welded in. It will sound great then.

I agree with everyone. Either weld in some cats or switch mufflers. I take it these are SLP 1's?

I wouldnt put flows back in with an o/r x. I had it. While I liked it, it sounded like a whole audience clapping at a concert.

Which reminds me...I need another o/r x.

ok thats what ill do.. is take the cats off the stock h and put onto the x pipe.. love how it sounds just way too loud

I think they're referring to some high flow cats...not the stock ones.

and then buy some LT's itll sound 1000X better and actually have some tone to it, not just be noise...

I ran the slp lm1 on one of my vehicles for a month also I got my moneys worth back out of it after I took it off and sold it on craigslist. It was just obnoxious. Cats may clean the sound up or put the flows back on and sell those resonators. that being said when I had the 40flows on my o/r x setup between 2000-2500rpm I hated it but after i welded in high flow cats and went with 10flows the sound cleaned up.
