Default Vortech it?

So I'm selling my street bike and putting some of the money into the mustang. I'm really interested in putting the cash towards supercharging it. The current mods on the car are nothing special, O/R Prochamber, Flowmaster 40s, 3.73s, and a basic K&N Air filter. What are the your opinions on this project and what necessary steps into making this a smooth and reliable DD at the same time. I would be happy with 400hp but more would be even better but im not going to cry over spilled milk lol.. the car just hit 45k miles aswell. Would I be safe with the current stock parts with say 9psi?

9psi should be safe and that exactly what i did sold my bike and used part of that cash to finance the blower and blower install. you can get a complete v1 s trim kit for $3014. just do some reading around on this forum and different ones and you will get all of your answers within a few hours.

Thanks buddy. As far as tuning went how much did it cost for getting it properly tuned? I know they send you tuning predone but I hear its crap compared to what a dyno tune can do for you.

yea I didnt do the pretune route. It vary from shop to shop and city to city but around this area the tuning/dyno tune would be $300+. Example a few shops in houston charge $800 for install and dyno tune. You will just need a handheld tuner and a new one or a used one thats unlocked will do the same job the only difference would be you can get a used tuner for as low as $190 and a new one for $379 and they will do the same job.
