Default New Wheels

So I've decided I'm bored of my wheels. They are too heavy, too common, and have some curb rash. I'm looking for something lighter. I'm interested in Enkei rpf1's. What color do you guys think would work best for my B. I'm leaning to Gold or Black, maybe even a bronze color.

I was also thinking about maybe the svt 10th anni wheels in bronze. I just want something substantially lighter than what I currently have. Just remember, I'm on a student's budget so nothing crazy *** expensive. All, opinions are wanted. Except maybe wannabe's..... lol

Gold or bronze wouldn't look good IMO

It would definitely be different. Non specific Mustang wheels always look good.

Enkei rpf1's in black. I've been more a fan of murdered out cars as of late. Plus I've seen a black 03 cobra that had them and they looked great! Would you be going with 18's or 17's?

These are the wheels that I'll be going for when I can...

http://www.forgestar.com/v2/wheelsf14.php

They make offsets that allow for 18x9's up front and 18x11's out back. And they are only 22lbs for the 18x11's and like 19lbs for the 18x9's. They might be a bit pricey for your budget, but something to look into. They can be had for around $1380 shipped for that setup.

I'm tossing the idea around between 17's or 18's. I know the rubber is less with 17's but I like how 18's will fill the wheel well out. There was a Black GT with 10th anni wells that were bronze, I never saw them in perons but he wished they were brighter. With black rpf1's, my calipers will stand out even more. i'm just worried about too much black. Should I have them powdercoated DHG? eh eh? lol

Nah, you got the murdered look already. Rock it. 18's look better, but 17's allow for better tire choices and better tires are cheaper. Also, idk if you get wheel hop at all, but 17's have more sidewall that might help absorb it.

I actually like the wheels from the link you sent me. They may be just out of my reach in terms or price wise. I was kinda planning on buying the rpf1's one at a time, maybe I should do the same with these. I like the f14f's and the f14 wheels though, badly. lol. I haven't had too much issue with wheel hop but then again I haven't been able to launch because of a fvcked up clutch and still in a break in period on this clutch.

Bro this guys car is in the black roof thread...

He's a Honda guy with money and class. Thus the gold rims on a nice mustang.
