higher stall converter

Default higher stall converter

I was wondering how a 3300 stall is for a DD. is it too high?

not at all, I would say thats even below what the majority guys run on the street. what type of setup is it going in? n/a? turbo? blower?

I want to go with a 3500 stall, lock up, multi-disc torque converter from Precision industries.. might even go with a trans cooler.

N/A for now. it will be a while before it gets done but my goal is a 5.3 big-bore stroker and single turbo with 3.73s and built trans.

pretty much what stealth posted is exactly who'd I guy with. PI makes awesome converters and if you plan in the future having a build like that I would go triple disc so you dont have to do your converter again. Also look into BC-Auto and dirtydog
