Default JAZZER PLEASE!

Having an arguement at work...

Anyway, are lowering struts physically shorter than stock struts? How about internals? Travel?

Im positive the only differences is in the valving..

Kill ..your both right..some struts do come shorter.
I believe the FOXBODY struts are .5" lower than sn95\Newedge.

Jazzer's primary knowledge isn't really in dampers...

That's a stupid work argument. But i'm pretty sure the dampers are physically shorter. And travel is shorter as well. Valving is different too.

My bilsteins were shorter than my tokico HP's by the slightest margin, but they are both sn95 specific. Neither were foxbody (at least i dont think)

wel when you lower the car, there is less suspension travel, so having shorter shocks/struts makes sense

Wouldnt it also make sense because one of the reasons the stock shocks/struts, dont hold up under lowering conditions be because your running in the very bottom of the stroke? and its just hard on things.. obviously the valving will be different because they need to stiffen em up.

I'd bet most are shorter, especially ones that are for more extreme drops..
