My stang is making a wierd noise HELP

Well I dont have a turbo or super charger on the stang.. But it does have a lot of mods to it..

I see you have the vehicle listed as a "1996 Ford Mustang GT SVT" and it seems you're somewhat new to cars. I don't mean that to be insulting as I was the same way when I got my mustang...
You should try to put up a picture up of the engine bay so we can sorta figure out what mods are on the car, or at least get a general idea. I find it odd that it's only knocking in 3rd, I may be wrong though. I would think it would do it at a certain RPM regardless of what gear it's in? Maybe have a buddy help you try to capture the sound on camera?
