Default So many on going problems with the stang..

So the first problem just started yesterday and its with the clutch/transmission, I have a 98 mustang gt 5 speed.. when im sitting there and have it out of gear it makes this clunking noise and you can feel it in the shifter when you grip it. It doesn't do it all the time and goes away but then can come back... any ideas.

The second problem im having is hanging rpms... I know a usual mustang thing but my car only does it every once in awhile and when I shut it off and then turn it back on it runs fine. Just a guess but could it be because I have a pi intake manifold and dont have pi heads, thinking maybe its getting too much air for the heads? Just a thought...

The third thing is a d**n dip stick tube and the dip stick.. called the dealership and they are discontinued for a 98.. where can I find one to fit my car?

All input would be greatly appreciated!

The thing for the hanging rpms is probably that you have a dirty IAC. Take it off and blow some carb cleaner through it. I dunno about the other two though.

I got a brand new iac not too long ago. Probably about 2 months. Do you think it got dirty that quick? And I do have a small valve cover leak that it gonna be fixed just waiting on parts, could that effect it?

U can always get a flexible lokar dipstick tube off summit but the btch is almost 100$. The clunk could be the trans mount, when i snapped mine it did the same thing.

Yeah that is pretty expensive but i need it so i guess i might look into it. Im going to search in junk yards and stuff soon so we will see. Thats my last resort though. For the transmission mount, thats good thinking. im gonna check it out. It wouldnt do it all the time right? just every once in awhile? Its a really good possibility because i can put it in different gears and it wont go away but then all of a sudden it will just stop. So im going to check it out.

Also uber, like a week before the american muscle show i had lowered my mustang with super sports.. lately now, probably about 3 or 4 weeks now my steering squeaks like hell. Im leaning towards it being the bushings, but im not really sure. It does it every time i turn left or right even the slightest turns but doesnt happen once im going.
