19lbs I think its 03-04s that have the 21lb injectors

 

rockwell your right, sometime during 01 they switched to the 21#. when i bought my car, i was hoping for the 21's but mine ended up being an early production 01

 

Is that true that there was a switch to 21# in mid-production year 2001?
This is the first I have heard of this. I have a later 2001 Bullitt.

I NEVER paid any attention to the color of my injectors. What color are the 19# and what color are the 21#???

 

I found the following chart of color/rate for Ford fuel injectors:

I looked at my injectors, and they are YELLOW. I am wondering if they are considering this yellow to be orange, OR if the yellow may be the 21# injectors which are not listed on the chart???
Does anyone know what color the 21# are?

EDIT: I found a post where CLIFFY says the 21# are LAVENDER, so I guess my yellow ones are considered orange.

 

IIRC, the injectors changed to 21# mid to late 2002, not 2001. a lot of things changed in late 2001, but i don't think that was one. mine are yellow as well, and it was built in early 2002

but to address the original poster, yes, yours are 19#'s

 

21# are pink

 

huh, maybe the source i was using back then meant production date. oh well, i learned something new
