Default Go figure..

I get the pipes for my I/C back from the welder today. Line everything up, connect the hoses, MAF, etc and go to start it to see what happens... Car won't turn over and battery goes dead! Fairly certain I'm out of gas... Which means no more excuses on dropping the tank and figuring out my gas gauge issue.... (I had been starting my car periodically over the winter trying to run out of gas). Just figures it happens now!

Hopefully that's the issue and not something serious. But anyway, it's probably for the better since I've wanted to fix the gauge for almost a year!

Painting the tank would be a nice touch.

new pump, fuel filter, and be careful with the rubber grommet on the filler neck. If its old i would replace it. mine ripped when re installing everything and after all was done i went to fill her up and out spilled the gas, check engine and check gas cap came on!!! FML o i would also inspect the filler neck tube where it is wire tired with some plastic. mine was all rusty so i figured I would replace it. I was lucky and got a used one from a wrecked Gt for $60!!

Good luck!

If I am replacing the pump, should I upgrade? I already have a BAP. But would a better pump do me any good?
