I need to make decision, and to me its very tough. I can either install a new head unit (a nav one) or I can install cutouts. I cant do both but I need some input, any is much appreciated.

Thanks!

Would cutouts be that noticeable, I already have flow master although it's not overly loud

I'd do the head unit, but if it was me personally, i would lower that pony first, it will really bring out the wheels

Our cars sound like poop with cutouts unless its a high compression cammed motor. Either lower it, or get a mid pipe if you dont already have one.

I would go for the head unit if yours is bad. If not, then I agree with everyone else in the suggestion to lower it.

out of the 2 i'd say the headunit. I would just get a mid pipe instead of the cutouts. But if it was me I would lower it before i do any of those. It realy changes the way the car looks and youll love it

Yeah, lower your car. It makes a HUGE difference.

Answer these questions so we can help you:

-What is your current exhaust setup?
-What makes you get a new head unit (old one is bad, new sound system)
-Where would you install the cutouts? Right before the cats?

- Current exhaust is flowmaster, just the muffler, not sure what series but its not overly loud
- I have the stock mach460 head unit, just really looking to play my ipod through it, any other suggestions would be awesome
- and the cutouts would either go right before cats or right after them
