I know in my car while in 5th gear it makes weird noses under load, but if you are just barely touching the throttle it is kinda quiet.

Probably bearings. The donor trans in my car now sounds terrible in every gear. Going down the road it sounds like an eaton lol

Welp...from what I've read...the stock shifter doesn't have shift stops. Which of course leads to broken forks when shifting like a gorilla.

If you want...I've still got that B&M I tore out my car. Text me your addy and I'll ship it to ya, if you want.

it doesnt matter if it has shift stops. he'll figure out how to break it lol. that boy could fvck up a wet dream

I had a t-45 in my old 4 bangger ranger and my 3-4 shift fork died at 80k miles.

I know it only does it in 5th gear, maybe I will take it to a shop and let them listen to it.lol
