The input shaft should be different too. If I remember correctly that is the other main difference between the Viper/Cobra/Vette units aside from the bellhousing.

Would I be able to use to bell housing off my tr 3650 and input shaft or do I need one from a cobra?

You need a bellhousing, possibly a clutch depending on what tranny you get (26 or 10 spline) driveshaft yoke, trans crossmember. The 3650 wiring harness will work, but you need to wire the reverse lockout yourself.

Do you guys recommend I just put steel 1-2 and 3-4 forks instead cause that's what I keep breaking.... If so any links were to buy them? I can't find them anywhere. Or if you don't recommend that what trans do you recommend that is not too expensive
