Default T-6060 to a 94 DOHC 4.6 out of a MK8. Will this work?

So I just scored one hell of a deal on a T-6060 trans out of a 08 5.4 Mustang. The motor that is going to get transplanted into my car is a 4.6 dual cam out of a 94 Lincoln MK8. Anyone tried this before? It should bolt up to the back side of the block without an issue. I'm still trying to figure out what flywheel and clutch to use seeing as the car the trans comes from has a multi-disk clutch and all the flywheels I'm finding are for a 8-bolt pattern crank where mine is a 6 bolt. The shifter and clutch linkage will be a whole different issue seeing as my 94 Mustang has cable and the 08 had a hydro system. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks guys and gals.

Its going to cost alot of money to do this. You will need a new tailshaft. Which I dont know where you would get it. all of the sinternal shifting components, 3650 wiring harness, custom length driveshaft, and a 26 spline clutch for your flywheel of choice. Call up ddperformance. Thats where I got almost all my parts for my t56 magnum install.( same tranny as yours, but with the stated mods alreay done)

In the end, you will prolly be better off selling the 6060 and getting a t56 out of a 03-04 cobra.

I work at a Ford dealer as a parts guy *sometimes it helps and others it doesn't* and after looking at the catalogs it looks like I'll either need custom parts or fab a lot of them. I have a ton of friends with Mustangs so spare parts like a driveshaft and 3650 harness are easy to come by with a phone call for free. I realize I'll have to send the driveshaft to a shop to be shortened but the other details are what I'm fuzzy on. Thanks for the info and I'll call them today to see if they are open. I was trying to see what had a 6 bolt flywheel that I could start scrounging. Then after I get a flywheel I have to make sure my clutch that fits the 6060 will bolt up to the oddball flywheel. I can see I'm going to have make a build thread for this thing.

Youll need to get a 03-04 cobra driveshaft as the input splines are different from what I hear. The tailshaft will have to be sourced from tremec. As I am pretty sure that it is specific to that transmission.
